You also can earn graduate credit at Metro State when you successfully complete the PSSC Program!

Public Sector Supervision Certificate partnership

Through the partnership, students who complete the PSSC can apply as Visiting Students at the university, and be awarded two credits of graduate-level work from the Department of Public and Nonprofit Leadership. The credits have been approved by Metro State faculty who reviewed the PSSC curriculum.

How to earn your Metro State credits

  1. Participate in and complete the PSSC program
  2. Accept your badge through Credly
  3. Generate a PDF of your Credly Transcript: follow the instructions for generating a Credly transcript and email it to yourself
  4. Apply for free to Metro State as a Visiting Student, using the special partnership application form
  5. Two credits of graduate credit will be awarded to your Metro State transcript, with no tuition or fees charged. These credits can then be used as elective credits in any of the Public and Nonprofit Leadership graduate degrees, which include MAPL, MNLM, MPA, and MPNA programs if you are admitted for a degree. You will be able to obtain a student or official copy of your Metro State transcript.

The PSSC is a four-module program that builds leadership skills and knowledge of managers and supervisors to lead in the public sector.

Please note that the Visiting Students application is temporary for the recording of the credits for this partnership only. To use the credits for a degree program, you must apply as a degree-seeking student. You will need to have earned an undergraduate degree if applying for a graduate program. If you have not yet earned an undergraduate degree, please consider our many options available at Metro State University: majors and programs.

Other higher education institutions to which you might apply as a degree-seeking student may or may not accept these credits in transfer. Transfer acceptance is up to the receiving institution.
